Ed Davis is currently averaging a rebound every 2.6 minutes, a figure better than the career numbers for Tar Heel rebounding greats Sam Perkins (1 every 3.8 minutes), George Lynch (1 every 3.4 minutes), and Antawn Jamison (1 every 3.4 minutes). Those three Tar Heels make up three of the top four on the all-time Carolina rebounding list--Billy Cunningham is the other, and minutes played weren't tracked during his career.
