During the first full weekend of NFL exhibition games, some Tar Heels tried to move up the depth chart, and others worked to win roster spots. Drake Maye’s preseason debut was a six-snap appearance for the New England Patriots. Sam Howell led the Seattle Seahawks to victory while Dyami Brown, Ty Chandler, and Michael Carter had solid efforts. (Tar Heel Tribune)
