Former UNC WR Antoine Green Waived By Detroit Lions


Former UNC wide receiver was in a battle for one of the roster spots at wide receiver in Detroit Lions training camp this summer. Green was trying to secure the WR3 spot in Detroit’s offense and have a bigger role moving forward. But on Monday, days after he suffered a concussion, the Lions waived Green from the roster in a flurry of moves. (USA Today)
