Tracking History: Michael Jordan
Posted Dec 17, 2008
Nobody transcended the sport of basketball quite like Michael Jordan. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird made it perfectly acceptable to watch the NBA again in the early 1980s. Jordan made it cool to watch the league. Jordan is the player against whom all others are now measured. He accomplished everything a 6-foot-6 player could during his career, and will remain a Babe Ruth-like icon for the rest of time.
