The uneven road that defensive end Desmond Evans has taken to get to this point, the path filled with ups and downs for the former blue-chip prospect turned UNC veteran, culminates in this approaching fifth season of college football with the Tar Heels. Evans' commitment served as a history-making recruiting victory for Carolina and coach Mack Brown.
