UNC running backs coach Larry Porter saw NFL potential in Omarion Hampton while recruiting him. Hampton has shown that level of promise since joining the Tar Heels, with his breakout season in 2023 earning Second Team All-American and First Team All-ACC honors. Behind Hampton, though, are backs UNC can lean on to reduce Hampton's workload.
