Prediction: UNC 24, Minnesota 20: The Tar Heels’ history in nonconference road openers is troubling, but the Golden Gophers aren’t world-beaters. In a game that likely will be decided late, I’ll roll with UNC running back Omarion Hampton to be the difference. Hampton, who had 46 rushing yards against Minnesota in 2023, will help Carolina win on the road. (Fayetteville Observer)
