T.J. Yates hopes to be at 100 percent for bowl

No North Carolina football player wanted to finish the season with a bowl game more than quarterback . He wanted one more game to make up for missing six full games and most of a seventh because of a broken left ankle. "It means a lot," said Yates, who was injured on Sept. 20 against Virginia Tech. "It's a definite second chance to come back and play again. It's another opportunity to go out and play football again, especially on such an exciting stage." (Winston-Salem Journal)
