It’s not only what he does but how he does it. UNC’s Tyler Hansbrough was named the top college basketball player in the nation last year not because he is the fastest runner, the highest jumper or the most acrobatic of athletes. He became the best quite simply because he willed himself to become the best. His dedication to practice, his meticulous pregame stretching routine, his discipline and determination are legendary.
