North Carolina squandered its 20-point lead after opening the third quarter with a field goal, losing to Duke 21-20 at Wallace Wade Stadium. It was Carolina's first loss to Duke since 2018, and Mack Brown's first time losing to the Blue Devils as the team's head coach since 1989.
