Posted Sep 29, 2024
North Carolina squandered its 20-point lead after opening the third quarter with a field goal, losing to Duke 21-20 at Wallace Wade Stadium. It was Carolina's first loss to Duke since 2018, and Mack Brown's first time losing to the Blue Devils as the team's head coach since 1989. "We really didn't play well on either side in the second half," Brown said.
