Success paying off for Butch Davis, UNC's football program

In 2008, Butch Davis is being paid more than double what his predecessor John Bunting was in his final season, in 2006. With attendance up by an average of almost 9,000 fans per game, and ticket revenue for 2008 projected to be almost $3million greater than Bunting's final season, Baddour said he's pleased with Davis' financial impact on the athletic department. “We said when we hired Butch that it was an investment in our future,” Baddour said.
