UNC Field Hockey Shuts Out Stanford, 3-0, During California Road Trip

North Carolina extended its winning streak to seven and its run of shutouts to five with a 3-0 field hockey win at Stanford on Friday. The Tar Heels (7-0, 2-0 ACC) stay in the Bay Area to face No. 20 California Sunday in Berkeley. Katie Dixon scored the game-winner against the Cardinal, tapping in a pass from Charly Bruder midway through the first quarter. (GoHeels.com)
