Noel Devine fine, Stewart asserts

Noel Devine is here and ready to begin practice for Saturday's Meineke Car Care Bowl against North Carolina. And that's despite insistent rumors circulating since the end of the regular season that Devine might be academically ineligible. Stewart can't talk about Devine's grades because of federal privacy laws, but he can speak to the issue in general and on Monday he did. "He's fine,'' Stewart said. "Anything else you've heard or anything else someone has written is [garbage].''
