Posted Dec 25, 2008
Jeff Mullen, West Virginia's offensive coordinator, expects that North Carolina's defense definitely will try to stop the run in Saturday's Meineke Car Care Bowl battle at Charlotte, N.C. As the quarterback coach at Wake Forest for several years, Mullen has participated in preparations for games against UNC. But he doesn't think such familiarity will be much of an advantage in Saturday's 73,778-seat Bank of America Stadium, which is sold out.
