Jheranie Boyd earns All-State honors

Ashbrook wide receiver Jheranie Boyd added another accolade to his growing list on Wednesday - Associated Press All-State. The University of North Carolina-bound Boyd received seven first-team votes out of 20 statewide media members to pick up his first All-State selection. West Craven's Erik Highsmith (13 votes) and Murphy's Georgie Kerber (seven votes) were also picked at receiver.
