Thanks to ACC expansion and a new football scheduling model, North Carolina’s annual football contest with Georgia Tech will be annual no more. But maybe that’s a good thing for the Tar Heels, who have had their hearts ripped out in three straight demoralizing losses to the Yellow Jackets. In 2021, Tech hosted UNC and routed Carolina by 23 points.
