UNC Football’s Tylee Craft Dies After Prolonged Battle with Cancer


, whose long bout with cancer galvanized and inspired his teammates on the Tar Heel football team, died Saturday at age 23. Craft, from Sumter, S.C., came to UNC as a four-star wide receiver and enrolled in January, 2020. He appeared in 11 games over the next two seasons. Craft was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer in March, 2022. (Chapelboro.com)
