Roy Williams Convinced Vince Carter To Commit to UNC Over Duke During Kansas Recruiting Visit


North Carolina basketball legend was officially inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this weekend. During his induction speech, Carter singled out former Tar Heel coach in the audience. He revealed that the then-Kansas coach convinced him to commit to UNC over rival Duke during a recruiting visit.
