UNC's David Ford and Maxwell Ford combined to shoot 7 under par Sunday in the first round of the Williams Cup at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, N.C. David Ford, the tournament's defending champion, is tied for the lead at 4-under 68. Maxwell Ford is third, one shot ahead of 2024 U.S. Amateur champion Jose Luis Ballester of Arizona State.
