Tavorris Jolly no longer with UNC football team
Posted Dec 27, 2008
Tavorris Jolly is no longer with the University of North Carolina football program, Tar Heels coach Butch Davis said Friday. Jolly, a 2006 Shelby High graduate, played in nine games over the previous two seasons as a defensive back, making 10 tackles. He played only once this past season - making a tackle in North Carolina's 44-12 win at Rutgers in September. Jolly came to UNC in the fall of 2006. He redshirted during his true freshman season with the Tar Heels.
