Wrestling key for Richard Quinn
Posted Dec 27, 2008
Butch Davis said Richard Quinn's five years of wrestling experience and his ability to translate coaching into action make him unique at his age. "I don't think I've seen a defensive lineman come in his freshman year and pick up things as fast as he's done," Davis said. "The position he plays requires an awful lot of speed and quickness, but it requires great balance, great hands and upper-body strength. "His wrestling background is an enormous benefit for him."
