Tar Heels in NFL: Big day for Josh Downs; Drake Maye runs for TD but gets concussion

A huge day for Indianapolis receiver Josh Downs and a terrific start for New England quarterback Drake Maye were overshadowed by a controversial hit that gave Maye a concussion. Maye gave New England an early lead, scrambling past Jets (and former UNC) linebacker Chazz Surratt and slivered into the end zone for a 17-yard touchdown run.
