Ian Jackson, Drake Powell Named Candidates For Julius Erving Award

UNC freshmen Ian Jackson and Drake Powell have earned spots on the preseason watchlist for the Julius Erving Award, given annually to the nation's best small forward. The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced the 20 watch-list candidates on Wednesday. The Julius Erving Award recognizes the top small forward in men's college basketball.
