North Carolina vs. Elon Basketball Preview: Tar Heels Set for New Season

The Elon Phoenix are coming off a 13-19 season, after finishing 11th in the CAA with a 6-12 conference record. Elon played an ACC opponent in Wake Forest to open last season, losing that game 101-78 in blowout fashion. Elon returns three of its top five scorers, perhaps most notably guard TK Simpkins, who led the team with 13.8 points per game (Inside Carolina)
