RJ Davis faces ex-Alabama guard Ryan Griffen, whose defense contributed to rough shooting game
Posted Nov 6, 2024
RJ Davis remembers the last time he faced Ryan Griffen. It didn’t go well. With the 6-6 guard aggressively defending him all game, Davis missed all nine 3-point attempts and was 4 of 20 shooting in UNC's 89-87 Sweet 16 loss to Alabama. After helping the Tide make the Final Four, Griffen transferred to Kansas and likely will guard Davis again Friday.
