Hubert Davis Reflects on Connection to His Coach Dean Smith

The 2024-25 North Carolina basketball season, which opened Monday night with the Tar Heels’ 90-76 victory over Elon at the Dean E. Smith Center, eventually will overlap with the 10-year anniversary of Smith’s death. "I never want to leave the Center," Davis said. "It connects me to Coach Smith, and I never want to be disconnected from him." (Chapelboro.com)
