Tar Heels Climb Back But Fall Short At No. 1 Kansas


North Carolina refused to wilt Friday, as the climb out of a deep deficit didn’t become too steep and the magnitude of the moment didn’t prove too big. The ninth-ranked Tar Heels unleashed a stirring second-half comeback and stormed into the lead, but ultimately couldn’t find enough to the finish the job.
