Junior guard Seth Trimble, who finished with a team-high 19 points, said the Tar Heels "weren’t playing hard" in the first half of UNC's loss to Kansas on Friday, which led to getting "a lot of emotion" at halftime from coach Hubert Davis and fired-up freshman James Brown, who had two rebounds and two points in the final two minutes of the first half.
