Something for Nicks to think about
Posted Dec 30, 2008
It's a foregone conclusion that Hakeem Nicks, the Tar Heels' record-setting junior wide receiver, will leave school to enter the NFL draft. I'm not saying that it's a good decision or a bad one. Nicks clearly has the speed, desire and skills to play professionally and projects to have a long, successful career at the next level. But before he makes it official and passes up his senior year at UNC, Nicks might want to get on the phone and call Wake Forest linebacker Aaron Curry.
