Previewing Nevada


The No. 1 Tar Heels are headed back out West for a New Year's Eve game against Nevada. Tip-off in Reno is scheduled for 10:05 p.m. (EST) and the game will be nationally televised by ESPN2. The Wolf Pack roster features one player from the state of North Carolina in Charlotte native and forward Malik Cooke. An all-state selection in each of final two seasons at Christ School in Arden, N.C., the 6-foot-6, 205-pounder led his team to 3A state championships in 2005 and 2007. (Inside Carolina)
