North Carolina's Carson Tanguilig and Theadora Rabman won their opening matches in the 2024-25 NCAA Singles Championship on Tuesday, advancing to Wednesday's round of 32 in Waco, Texas. Ranked No. 43 nationally, Rabman came from behind to beat Guillermina Grant of Georgia. Earlier in the day, the 26th-ranked Tanguilig won in straight sets.
