Tar Heels Struggle To 'Punch Back' Vs. Auburn In Maui Invitational Loss


Auburn out-worked North Carolina on the boards, resulting in an 85-72 semi-final defeat for the Tar Heels at the Maui Invitational. The Tigers out-rebounded UNC 42-36, marking the second time in three games UNC lost the battle on the boards. UNC allowed 11 offensive rebounds to Auburn, and the Tigers converted those into 12 second-chance points. (Inside Carolina)
