Ashbrook's Jheranie Boyd to play in All-America game


Ashbrook wide receiver will put his talent on display in front of a national audience on Sunday night as he will compete in the Under Armour All-America football game in Orlando, Fla. The game will be televised live at 8 p.m. on ESPN at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. Boyd, an All-State selection as a senior, is the only player from N.C. competing in the game. Boyd, a nationally recruited wide receiver, gave his verbal commitment to the University of North Carolina. (Gaston Gazette)
