Jon Sumrall addresses reported interest from North Carolina

Jon Sumrall stated emphatically Sunday that his focus is on getting Tulane ready for its bowl game. The Green Wave’s first-year football coach has been linked to the open North Carolina position. Sumrall is reportedly high on UNC’s list. Carolina is also said to be in negotiations with former NFL coach Bill Belichick and the timeline for a hire remains unclear. (Saturday Down South)
