Ethan Strand Named USTFCCCA National Athlete Of The Week

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named UNC's Ethan Strand Men's National Athlete of the Week on Monday. Strand rewrote the NCAA record book with his historic 3,000-meter performance (7:30.15) to open the indoor season. Strand's finish set a new collegiate record, shattering the previous record by six seconds.
