Down goes Carolina

Wow. Top-ranked North Carolina not only lost to Boston College, 85-78, Sunday night in its ACC opener, but got trashed in the process. Eagles' guard Tyrese Rice ripped the Heels for 25 points, then questioned the Heels' credentials. "I feel they hadn't been challenged all year," Rice claimed. "Every team they played, they walked right through them. You look at people playing defense against them, they stay back, people drive on them. I can't watch a tape of anyone who's playing like that." (New York Daily News)
