Duke fans rejoice win, rival's loss


If the No. 1 team in the nation falls in Chapel Hill but all the Duke fans are eight miles away, does it still make a lot of noise? You’re darn right it does. That’s why with 17:35 to play in the first half of the Virginia Tech-Duke game Sunday night, just as Boston College completed its 85-78 upset of top-ranked North Carolina, Cameron Indoor Stadium exploded. First came the chants of “Bos-ton Col-lege!” followed by the mandatory Cameron chorus of, “Go to hell Carolina, go to hell!” (Fayetteville Observer)
