An Early Ranking of ACC Football Teams in 2009

It’s way too early to start going through the 2009 ACC schedule and predicting who might win the league. But here’s an early ranking of the teams in terms of the talent they should have returning in 2009: 3. North Carolina: Assuming Hakeem Nicks leaves for the NFL, the Tar Heels will miss him almost as much as the 2009-10 basketball team will miss Tyler Hansbrough. But UNC still has a quality quarterback returning in T.J. Yates and a lot of speed on defense.
