An emphasis for UNC's defense Wednesday was to keep players from having to play on "islands" defensively, which women's basketball head coach Courtney Banghart felt the team did too often on Sunday. North Carolina took Florida out of their rhythm by disrupting passing lanes, making life difficult on the inside and keying in on their leading scorers.
