Boyd catches two passes in Under Armour Game
Posted Jan 6, 2009
As linebacker coach in Sunday's Under Armour High School All-American Game, Ashbrook's Mike Briggs had little to do with the offense. But he sure wishes he could have done something to get Jheranie Boyd the ball. Boyd, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver who has committed to North Carolina, caught one pass in each half, the second a spectacular grab on the sideline. At first, Boyd had a rough time because he wasn't accustomed to facing cornerbacks with such speed and size, but he was able to adjust.
