UNC men's basketball nears bubble status in NET rankings after loss at Louisville

After falling to 2–6 in Quad 1 games with Wednesday’s 83–70 loss at Louisville, UNC fell five spots to 47th in the NET rankings and began to slip near bubble status. With that, the Tar Heels (8–6, 1–1 ACC standings) have six more Quad 1 opportunities to build a better NCAA tournament resume, starting with the 9 p.m. home game Tuesday against SMU.
