Decisive ACC win for the Tar Heels. North Carolina beat SMU in their first ACC meeting, 82-67. Chalk it up to defense (SMU shot just 34% from the field), and chalk it up especially to post defense. SMU entered as one of the top ten offensive rebounding teams in the country. UNC emphasized that heavily in practice the last two days, and it paid off. (GoHeels.com)
