Carolina slotted in at No. 4 in USA Lacrosse Magazine’s 2025 women’s preseason poll and No. 17 in the men’s pol. On the women’s side, the Tar Heels sit behind only No. 1 Boston College (defending national champions), No. 2 Northwestern and No. 3 Michigan.
