Louisville basketball signee Mikel Brown Jr. embracing chance to help Pat Kelsey rebuild


Jr. has literal star power, having been awarded five by all four of the major recruiting sites — 247Sports, ESPN, On3 and Rivals. Brown received a standing ovation from the 14,000-plus Louisville fans at U of L’s game versus UNC. Afterward, Pat Kelsey referred to the crowd’s response as a “roar,” adding that the moment gave him goosebumps. (Louisville Courier-Journal)
