Heels face a handful of questions

Now that Hakeem Nicks has made his NFL intentions known, North Carolina can look forward to spring practice and next season with a reasonable idea of what its team will look like. For the most part, especially on defense, the 2009 Tar Heels will look a lot like the 2008 Tar Heels. Nine starters return on defense, six on offense, giving Butch Davis' club a solid foundation to work with heading into Davis' third season.
