Trinity Armstrong Signs Pro Soccer Contract With San Diego Wave

Freshman sensation and national champion Trinity Armstrong has signed a professional contract with San Diego Wave in the National Women's Soccer League. She will forgo her final three seasons of college eligibility to join the pro ranks. Armstrong put together one of the best rookie seasons in Tar Heel history in 2024 as one of the nation's best center backs.
