Jaylen Blakes hit a jumper with 1.5 seconds left to lift Stanford to a 72-71 win over North Carolina on Saturday, the first meeting as ACC foes and the first Cardinal win over the Tar Heels in 15 meetings. R.J. Davis scored 19 for the Tar Heels, who had their season-best four-game win streak end. Ven-Allen Lubin added 13 points and Elliot Cadeau had 12.
