Marcus Ginyard not likely to face Deacons
Posted Jan 11, 2009
It appears unlikely that Marcus Ginyard will play in North Carolina's showdown with Wake Forest on Sunday. UNC coach Roy Williams hasn't hidden his unease with the pace of Ginyard's recovery from October surgery on a stress fracture in his left foot. Williams held the senior forward out of Wednesday's win over College of Charleston and is considering doing the same for No. 3 UNC's game against the No. 4 Demon Deacons on Sunday (8 p.m., Fox Sports).
