Sitting at 19-4 and 7-3 in the ACC standings, the UNC women’s basketball team is off to its best start in the era. So, what’s been working for Carolina? After seeing the Tar Heels score just 40 points in regulation and grind out an overtime win over No. 14 Duke on Jan. 9, it’s obvious why UNC boasts the best scoring defense in the ACC.
