Four-star center Ben Ahmed requests release from Miami basketball, will reopen recruitment


Ben Ahmed, a 4-star center in the 2025 basketball recruiting class, has requested his release from Miami and will reopen his recruitment. This comes after coach Jim Larrañaga stepped down in December. The 6-foot-10 center from Putnam, Conn. signed with the Hurricanes over offers from Georgia, Cincinnati, Boston College, Xavier, Cal, and others. (On3.com)
